Where to Go in Taiwan

What to do in Taiwan

Hello Taiwan!! I’ve been here a couple of times with my family but I never really got to go around other cities aside from Taipei, that’s why I was really happy when I went there for Ever Rich Duty Free and Lion Travel. We had five full days full of adventure!

We went around four four south village. It’s a compound near Taipei 101 that has cool cafes and really Instagrammable doors and walls (siyempre yun ang concern ko hahaha). You can actually spot Taipei 101 in one of my photos. Nice new + old feel in one picture.

We walked along Yongkang street district and ended up at Chiao tea salon. We got to learn how to make tea! We tried several kinds of tea and got sweet treats that went really well with everything that we drank. I’m such a sucker for hot teas and really enjoyed this session.

We went up to the observatory at Taipei 101 mall at night and saw this magnificent view. I love Taipei’s building structures- they’re all so organized!

The following day, we went to Yehliu Geopark, which is in the East of Taiwan. It took us maybe an hour to get there and you’ll be amazed at all the rock formations you see! Best time is to go during the morning so there won’t be as many people yet inside the park.

Lunch time! Jiufen old street market is a really cool place to experience. Inside you’ll see so many shops and food stalls that’s really affordable. I got to try a lot of local dishes and enjoyed every moment of it. My favourite is the taro bowl!
