Travel Diary: Camiguin Island

Camiguin Island

I expected Camiguin Island to be amazing, but I didn’t think it would be THIS beautiful. I was really just supposed to go to Cagayan De Oro for my meet and greet with Bigby’s but I decided to go to Camiguin Island for an overnight stay since it’s only a few hours away from CDO. I’m so happy I made a spontaneous decision because this island is really worth seeing. I went to Tuasan Falls, Ardent Hibok Hibok hot spring resort, the Sunken Cemetery and islands like White Island and Mantigue Island. Actually, two days isn’t enough because sobrang bitin ko sa trip ko! If you’re going to visit Camiguin Island, make sure you’ll be staying for at least 4-5 days so you can maximize your time! I still have so much to see and I really don’t mind staying in this island doing nothing but chilling by the beach while reading a good book. Clearly, I am in love with Camiguin Island and I’m definitely going back for sure. Being with old and new friends really made my trip extraordinary- thank you Mikko Mahinay for making my trip very memorable! BMS.
