The District Boracay

The District Boracay

So here’s the scenario: My pinaka kaladkarin friends Sean Go, Igol Aguila and I decided to book a trip to Boracay last minute because we wanted some R&R for the weekend. For most people, booking a flight is easy- looking for a nice hotel/resort is the hard part. I always try to look for a place that’s not so expensive but still nice enough for you to feel relaxed and say it’s worth your money, like The District Boracay. If you want peace, quiet and alone time, stay somewhere around Station 1. But if you’re there to try good food, fun sports and party at night, then The District Boracay is definitely one of the hotels you’d want to consider.

White, blue and green. Love the color combination of The District Boracay! Parang feed ko lang sa Instagram hahaha.

Their rooms are so nice and relaxing to the point that you’d want to stay in instead of going out. Seriously, the beds are so comfortable!!! Like you just want to sleep all day.

Time for some sunbathing!

BEST THING EVER: their brunch buffet is open from 6:30am-1:00pm. Since I don’t normally wake up for breakfast. this one’s perfect for me. Bacon for lunch- yasss!

Star Lounge, their roof top bar, is one of our favourite hohol (hang out hang out lang) spots during that weekend.

It was my first time experiencing a unique shisha moment there. It’s called Meduse and it’s a different way of serving and smoking shisha pipes. They serve with fruits and alcohol inside for you to smoke. I tried Milky Way, which tasted like tropical fruits and has three shots of Bacardi inside. What. A. Hit. It’s definitely a must-try!

The District Boracay also has a deluxe suite (like a family room) where you and your entire family can chill by the living room or watch TV in bed. It’s also convenient for the kids because right when you step out of the room, the pool is just a few steps away!

The premiere suite is something else. Loft type soya. Enough said.

On our second night, we tried Caruso, an outdoor restaurant that serves really good Italian dishes. Honestly, The District Boracay surprised me with all their delicious food. As in sobrang sarap ng pagkain nila guys, especially their breakfast buffet. I did nothing but eat, sleep and relax during that weekend (and fine, maybe one night of partying hahaha).

After dinner, just like wagyu cows, we got massages. I tried their Upperhouse signature massage and it was the best thing to do on a Sunday night. The works!

The District Boracay’s location is perfect. You don’t need to ride the tricycle or walk super far to get to all the places you want to because everything is walking distance. Thank you so much for the good food, excellent service and the amazing experience, The District! I’ll be back for sure. BMS.
