Postcards From Movenpick Resort

If you want to just get away and go somewhere relaxing, go to Movenpick Resort in Cebu. I know, I know, Cebu is also a busy place but this resort is something else. It’s just 5-10 minutes away from the Cebu airport meaning it’s far away from the city and is the perfect venue if you want to escape the urban scene. I went there with my family a few weeks ago to bond- we usually do this twice or thrice a year since were all busy working when we’re in Manila.

The beautiful Ibiza Lounge inside Movenpick Resort- it’s the perfect venue if you want to just chill and watch the sunset. Also, they have a 14-course meal during dinner time. I tried it and loved it so much. Unlimited wine and food- so if you’re on plate number 6 and you want to have more of that, just order and there’s no extra charge.

Thank you to THE Manny Osmena for giving us the presidential suite. I loved the room and the service of their staff!

The wonderful view outside the balcony. That’s Ibiza Lounge right there! This is another perfect spot the watch the sunset (okay, I love sunsets too much).

Here we are at the jacuzzi area. Liz also brought her Stylized book team. Fun fun fun!

This is the view if you’re at the Ibiza Lounge. You could see the entire Movenpick Resort from here.

During dinner, there were performances for entertainment. They have different shows every night- some are ballroom dancing, fire dance, bands also play, etc.

Our second day was spent in Pandanon Island. It’s in the middle of Bohol and Cebu and is about 30-40 minutes away from Movenpick Resort. We just rented a boat, brought our own food and enjoyed the amazing view there. The island is small and it’s so beautiful.

People can do so many water sports activities there but we just stuck to eating and swimming hehe.

There are a lot of huts that people can rent for the day so you can leave all your stuff there.

It was such an honour meeting Manny Osmena and his gorgeous wife Gina. I learned so much from him during our dinner and I can definitely say his words made me motivated to work harder so I can strive to be as smart and successful as him one day- wishful thinking, I know, but it doesn’t hurt to dream, right? Three days in Movenpick Resort Cebu was spectacular. I had a great time and it was the perfect getaway. I’ll be back for sure. BMS.
