Private Tour: Marimekko Headquarters

A few months ago, I went to Finland for #HelsinkiSecret Residences– and I know it’s supposed to be a secret but I’m sharing with you guys all the wonderful things I was able to do and see during my trip. The team booked me at this amazing apartment called Aallonkoti that’s only a bus stop or a 5-10 minute walk from the main railway station, which was so convenient. Not only that, everything inside the apartment is designed by Funn Juhl and Marimekko! What a sweet surprise. For today’s post, I’ll be sharing with you guys my experience visiting the Marimekko outlet + …

Still Seeing Stripes

You can’t see it from afar, but my denim bomber jacket also has stripes all over it. I think it’s time I don’t post about Guess logo shirts and showcase their other amazing pieces as well. Lol– still not over the logo tee phase, by the way, but I wanted to publish this outfit I wore during our Helsinki trip. Weather was a bit unpredictable, so we made sure we’re prepared for the sun by wearing something cool and prepared for the cold as well by bringing a jacket. Also, this romper is everything. K tnx bye.

Valencia, Spain

To be honest, I was pretty much on vacation mode in Valencia. I think I went all out in Barcelona that I really just wanted to chill and relax in this city. I told the others to be my tour guide so I can just go with the flow, but I did capture a lot of interesting spots because we stumbled upon places like plaza de la virgen, one of the oldest squares in Valencia, and its beauty around the area. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took.

Hello New York City!

Sorry if I have been MIA for more than a week. I tried my best to publish a post sooner but my schedule was just packed! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know this but I’m currently in New York for the Maybelline It Girls program and I’m having the time of my life! I’m about to sleep after writing this post and will be meeting Gigi Hadid tomorrow (AAAAHHHHH!) for the launch of her new makeup line with Maybelline. Before this trip, I was in LA for the world premiere of Netflix’s Strangers Things …

Madrid, Spain

Apologies if the photos on this post doesn’t have the same filter/ tone. I have to admit, I was totally on chill mode during our Spain trip, especially in Madrid because it was our last stop. I didn’t bring my own camera most of the time and was just asking my besties to take my OOTDs. After all, we are 4 bloggers (and my college bestie who loves taking photos) on this trip, so I think I’m still good even if I leave my gadgets. Lol. Here are some of the shots I took during Pride month in Madrid.

Let’s Get Crafty!

As a student, I was one of the kids who was into arts and crafts. Give me a paper and I’ll make a mini comic book. Give me crayons and I’ll draw. I even had a jar full of paper stars that I made whenever I’m bored at home. During high school, I was one of the girls who really put an effort every time we’d have to create a mood board for a project (mood boards back then were created using illustration boards, not photoshops on our laptops lol). As I grew older and became busier, I didn’t get to spend …

Sitges, Spain

Have you ever been to a place that looks so beautiful, every corner is just picture perfect? That’s what I felt when I went to the beautiful city of Sitges. It’s a coastal town in Spain’s Catalonia region in the southwest of Barcelona. It’s about 50 minutes away and is such a lovely beach filled with friendly people all over town. We basically just ate and drank sangria the entire time we were here. We only decided to go here last minute and loved our decision (obviously). I love being spontaneous! Anyway, I hope you like this travel diary.

Patch Perfect

Nope, this post isn’t about the movie Pitch Perfect lol. It’s also not a typo. It’s about my love for patchwork designs on basically any piece of clothing. I’ve been wearing this denim jacket since forever and I think it found its match when I wore this box bag from Guess. This was one of my looks during my trip to Spain with the girls and everybody complimented my bag! Not only does it look nice, it also reminds people to spread the love everyday. Salut!

Say Hello to Smooth!

As a person who’s always on the go, it’s always hard for me to have a steady routine. I know, it’s confusing, but what I really mean is that whenever I travel, it’s always difficult for to me to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to keep working out as often as I do in Manila, to do basic things like get a hair trim and other basic hygienic stuff that you need to do regularly. Ever since I started blogging, I would always mention that looking good is a huge part when it comes to boosting your self-esteem. When you look and feel …

Barcelona Travel Diary ’17

People normally say you’ll know if you and your friend will truly get along once you guys start traveling. Well, in that case, I think I’ve found my besties. I never have a hard time traveling with these girls– and since The Trio’s trip to Phuket 7 years ago to me and Nicole’s spontaneous travels, nothing has changed. I just keep loving them more. Here’s what we did during our #Spainoritas adventure.
