Arrowtown, New Zealand

Before the big #Erwanne wedding in Queenstown last year, my friends and I decided to go there a few days before the big day so we can go around and see what this beautiful town has to offer. In between our stay there, we decided to do our own mini tour and trust me, it’s not so easy when they drive on the right hand side (not that I drove, Nicole was the designated driver lol). We passed by Arrowtown quickly, a charming and historic small village in the south of New Zealand. We had lunch there quickly and went to the mountains …

Gucci Gang

Last OOTD from my NYFW leg! Also, sorry if I haven’t been blogging for the past few days. It’s so funny how on my last post I mentioned about trying to blog more and then went on a hiatus after lol. To be honest, mixing blogging and vlogging + traveling for work really makes it so hard for me to be present in all my platforms. Now that I’ll be in Manila for one week before my busy May month starts, will really exert extra effort on Break My Style. Anyhoo, I’ve been trying to look for more ways to look stylish and …

NYFW Lookbook

New York Fashion Week is a week-long event that includes a lot of glitz and glam, incredible makeup (whether it be Cardi B’s on fleek look to Irene Kim’s “no makeup” makeup), va-va-voom hairstyles (whether it be a “I woke up like this” lewk to again, Cardi B’s unique ‘dos), and of course impeccable style. Sometimes, people change in between shows so they can wear and represent the next show they’ll be watching– I did that on some days. So I figured instead of making a blog post for each look (ang daming posts nun hahaha), I’ll just create a lookbook instead.

Do Not Cross ✖️

This was probably my favorite look during NYFW because:

1. I felt so warm and snug

2. The all denim look is my go-to every time I want to look casual but still look stylish

3. This red coat grabbed everyone’s attention. Thanks Lavish Alice!

I know everyone says fashion week is all about looking good but deep down you can’t move because you’re so uncomfortable– I beg to differ. This look is incredibly cozy and I’d wear it everyday– maybe change my heels to sneakers lol.

Red Blue and White

Time to upload all my NYFW photos! Sharing with you guys my most comfortable look that entire week. I wore my Stranger Things “Hawkins University” hoodie, this oversized jacket that I got from Carolina Herrera’s mens section, and my Alexander Mcqueen boots. I attended CH’s show and decided to wear something from the guys collection instead of being all dolled up in a dress. If you’re like me who prefers wearing big jackets too, send some love and leave a comment! x

Staff | NYC

I started my love with Vetements ever since they came out with the DHL shirts. Since then, I started buying some of their affordable collabs like the Vetements x Reebok socks and simple tees. I’m always on the lookout for new pieces and even if some people say it’s bordering street / boy-ish, I think it fits my style really well. It’s all about mixing it with key pieces that’ll still make it look feminine. Here’s how I styled my Vetements staff shirt in NYC during my visit last year.

NYC Lookbook

Another lookbook for you guys to see– and this time it’s all my New York looks from my vacation a few months back. I know this post is waaaay delayed (again) but I promise I’ll try my best to post as early as I can. It’s just so hard if my work trips are back to back, but I know that’s no excuse. Anyway, here are some of my OOTDs taken by NYC-based photographer Jessi Murphy. Enjoy!

My Favorite Snacks Inside Landers

Last Sunday, I went to the opening of the newest Landers branch (Alabang West) and felt like a little kid going inside a candy shop again. Every time I visit this Superstore, I always feel like it’s a quick trip to the US. The entire feel and all the food options are just incredible! Before I share with you guys my favorite snacks when I’m home watching my series, here’s a quick tour around this gigantic grocery.

DTLA

I’m actually a bit jealous that LA’s natural light is incredibly beautiful. Everywhere you go and anywhere you shoot, the light is always just perfect. You also get to see and explore a lot of cool streets, graffiti walls, and brunch places (yes, I love brunch food lol). Anyway, here are more photos from my shoot with Adrian Martin. Hope you guys like this lookbook! x

Feeling Fruity

Can you believe I got this midi dress for £10 or even less? Everyone still want to look cute on a casual day even if there’s really no occasion, right? I wore this during one hot summer day in LA and shot with the talented Adrian Martin. Just to give you a background, I met Adrian in Manila a long time ago (maybe 5-6 years back when I had just started blogging) and he’s now based in LA working as a creative director for @mensfashion. He’s unbelievably talented and honestly, nakaka-proud to see Filipinos all over the world showcasing their creativity …
