Nuuksio National Park, Finland

Leaving Helsinki at 7am was a bit of a struggle for me because I’m really not a morning person, but it was so worth it to see Nuuksio National Park! The park can be reached by public transportation from Helsinki and Espoo. It’s such a great place to grilling, camping, and mushroom/ berry picking. Fun fact: people are allowed to pick berries in any forest as long as it’s not a private property. Cool, right? Another fun fact: sometimes you can see flying squirrels here because it’s the emblem of this park. Cooler, right? Haha. We tried canoeing and ended up at this beautiful spot to just chill, eat snacks, and enjoy the view.
