How I miss New York already. So sad that this is going to be my last NY travel diary. These are some of the photos I took during my last few days enjoying the city.
Endless thanks to my good friend Carlos Concepcion for taking care of me the entire time I was there. I seriously felt like he was my baby sitter the whole trip!
We went on a 10-minute walk in Brooklyn and he took me to this breathtaking park where you can see the entire of Manhattan from afar. I can’t even explain how beautiful this view is- if only I wasn’t freezing cold, I’d stay here for hours.
After my interview with Vivienne Tam and Josie Natori, I also dropped by the Schutz event hosted by Aimee Song of Song of Style. I met her and her sister Dani and all I can say is they’re both so beautiful inside and out.
I enjoyed going to the Museum of Modern Art (also known as MoMa). It’s located on midtown Manhattan and is a place to visit! My favourite is Andy Warhol.
I also got to meet filipino designer Ivy Kirzhner and saw all her beautiful shoe designs. I loved chatting with Izzy of The Dandy Project as well as other bloggers during the event. It was a very intimate gathering- thank you Izzy for the invite!
One of my favourite moments of my New York trip- having breakfast with THE Rafe Totengco. Even before meeting him, I’ve already loved his style and his creations. It made me love him more after breakfast because he’s so intelligent and so nice to have a conversation with. I became more inspired to travel and see the world because of him. After our meal, he toured me around Chelsea so I can take outfit shots in some nice areas there. Thank you Rafe again!! Learned so much.
Wearing my favorite Rafe “Laureen” bag.
Just some of the photos I took of the Cathay Pacific Lounge when I was at the airport. I was very early and had so much time to kill so good thing they have nice couches and good food to keep me sane.
Special thanks to Carlos, Alex and Eva for taking me out everyday! You guys are the best! New York, I will be back for sure!!! BMS.
