NYFW Day 5: Denim Fever

It’s day 5 of NYFW and I’ve never felt more snug in my denim on denim look thanks to my thick Levi’s jacket from Luisa Via Roma. Paired it my most favorite (and probably most overused lol) piece this week: my trusty bucket hat from Burberry. I’m definitely making a mental note to buy more bucket hats as I’m starting to realize that you can never have too many! Also, I loved how my bag from Cafune completed my entire look here.

Always thankful to the amazing @martsromero for these great shots!

One of what was probably the coolest things that happened in my life was getting featured in Teen Vogue’s article celebrating diversity in street style with this look!

It was truly an honor to be considered for Teen Vogue’s selection of stylish people at NYFW. I’m proud to be one of the petite, morena Filipinas slaying the style game!

You guys can check out more of the article here.

In other news that day, I got to attend the Alice + Olivia presentation and it’s no wonder why it was a full house! As always, the talented Stacey Bendet didn’t hold back and brought to life a dreamy, mystical forest themed fall presentation.

I swear, I had a hard time choosing which area to focus my eyes on; everything was just so scintillating. There was a winter wonderland themed space and one covered in dramatic roses and glowing butterflies!

Also, shoutout to Tresemme for complementing this quirky colorful presentation with the chic slicked back look!

I was obsessed with each little detail, from the stark bright colors to the whimsical patterns incorporated in the looks. The whole show was like a modern fairytale brought to life!

I particularly loved the mix of different colors, patterns, and textures whether it was leopard, zebra, sequined, rainbowed, or striped. Here are some more of my favorite looks from the show (I couldn’t choose just one!):

Overall, it was an experience full of richness and fun with all the wildly striking get-ups and the playful extravagance of the whole presentation. Kudos to the whole team at Alice + Olivia!

I hope you guys have enjoyed reading my NYFW blog posts so far! What I love most about these experiences is getting to share them all with you guys at the end of the day. 🙂 Send some love and comment below about what you think of the show! x
