A few months ago, I went to Cagayan De Oro for a meet and greet for Bigby’s Restaurant. It’s always nice to meet all my readers because I’m always more inspired afterwards with blogging. I got to personally meet each and everyone of them and it was the best feeling ever. I even had dinner with some winners and enjoyed bonding with them. I’ve already been to this awesome city a few years back but I never got the chance to try all their delicious food. This time around, I made sure to try everything I wanted to eat.
What to do when you’re in Cagayan De Oro? EAT. EAT. EAT.
Kain pa more!
First stop: Bigby’s! I love this travel themed restaurant because all their decorations are bought from all over the world. They have such a cute and quirky interior! I felt so welcome because they made me try all their famous dishes like the Tiki Waki salad, four cheese pizza, ribs and more.
Bigby’s branches are located in Ayala Centrio Mall and SM CDO in Cagayan De Oro, in SM Cebu and Ayala Cebu Terraces, Ayala Abreeza Mall and SM Ecoland in Davao and Robinson’s Place in General Santos City.
Next stop: Boy Zugba. I’m not joking when I say they serve the best Filipino dishes. I wanted to eat lunch and dinner everyday there when I was in CDO. Boy Zugba means “Griller Boy” in english and the restaurant feels so homey. The vibe I got when I was there so chill- it’s really a place to have a good time with family and friends. They serve all kinds of delicious Filipino dishes, even fishballs (the sosyal version)! I personally love their crispy data and chicken inasal.
Their leche flan is the best!!!!!!!!
There’s also an area where you can put your pictures on the wall for memories. They’re located at Chaves-Corrales st. in Cagayan De Oro.
Meet and greet time! To everyone who attended my talk about fashion and blogging, thank you so much. I talked about how you can mix and match your clothes for certain occasions and shared some photo taking/ editing tips! I had such a great time meeting everyone. I felt so welcome! Kagay-anons are super friendly and I can’t wait to go back there. Special thanks to Bigby’s for inviting me to do the talk. After the trip (and after gaining 20 pounds lol), I felt more inspired with my job. I wish I can go back again this year! Bigby’s, another event? Yes? Hahaha. BMS.
