I always get excited every time I go to a place I’ve never been to- whether it be in the Philippines or out of the country. Actually, I like it when I go to our own provinces so that I can share the beauty of our country to all my readers. I have been blessed to be invited to Pangulasian Island, Puerto Prinsesa for work/ vacation and have gone to so many places like Cebu, Iloilo, Boracay and Bantayan Island this year. I actually have a lot of cities and provinces I wish to visit in our country, but I’d like to share with you my most recent trip to Davao. I was very fortunate to be invited to be one of the main guests for SM Lanang Premier’s event called Lookbook Live with David Guison.
We had a press con before the program and shared our experience in Davao, what we look forward to doing there and of course, why we were there.
The theme of the show was how to wear jeans, so David and I had to style five models in our own ways. Here are David’s five different looks on how you can style jeans.
Here are my five looks and I’ll explain each of them. Look 1: keeping it chic and classy with a dirty white jacket and harem pants. To best accessorise your look, try wearing a hat.
Want to look edgy? A thin striped loose top and leggings would be a great match. If you want to look extra corporate, just wear a blazer and remove it once you’re ready for a night out with friends.
If you’re more the feminine type, then you’ll like this look the best. A printed loose top and a tray cardigan with a pair of pink pants would be the safest and daintiest look.
If you’re more the experimental type, try playing with colours and prints. Love the pastel coloured jeans together with a cream polo and navy blue blazer. Perfect for a school attire/ meetings.
White and mint make such a cool colour combination. It’s simply stunning.
Hello daw sabi ng photos ko sa likod! Hahaha. It was such a great feeling coming out of the stage and meeting all my readers.
Here’s the winner of the #ootd contest that SM Lanang held. Congratulations!
And now, time to meet all our fabulous readers!!! David, tama na cell phone! :p
The SM Lanang people who took care of us the entire time. Thank you for flying David and I for the event, we enjoyed every bit of our time spent in your beautiful city.
I know I don’t normally post photos with my readers on my blog, but I was truly touched and amazed by everyone- there were even kids who asked for our photos and others who gave me gifts. Thank you Davao for the overflowing love you showed us.
Kudos to FIDA as well for organising the event! So happy to have met you guys, keep doing whatever your doing, be inspired and always love fashion! Thank you again SM Lanang Premier for having us. I hope to see you guys again! BMS.
