Highlights

You might be wondering why I’m wearing an all black apparel, and no, it’s not because someone died. I wanted to wear minimal make up and just wear black pieces (but still fashionable ones) to highlight the items I really want to showcase for today’s post.

It was a long, stressful day for me since I had to got to a class, pull out for my styling gig and attend an event all in one day so it was really nice wearing sneaker wedges to make me comfy and still have height at the same time. I have a lot of sneaker wedges at home but I think this one from Berca Shoe Store  stood out the most because of its colour and style. It’s fun and at the same time can be rugged so you don’t have to worry about running errands all day. The neutrality of its color is so easy to pair with everything too. It really helped my entire get up look more interesting.

Now, since I knew I would be running around all day, I had to wear a watch to remind myself if I need to hurry up. This isn’t just an ordinary watch though, it’s THE Cookoo Watch. It’s been getting a lot of hypes too so I won’t be surprised if you know about it already, but just in case you haven’t hear of it yet, let me explain to you why I love it and why I think every person should own one. See that connect button on the side? Press it for about 4 seconds and you’ll see this:

Cookoo Watch connects to your phone via bluetooth and you get notifications of all your texts, missed calls, Facebook messages plus you can use it as a remote control to trigger your camera and music too. I’m such an Instagram addict and I always hate it when I have to ask someone to take a photo if we’re a huge group, so this button will surely be overused! What I love about it is you don’t have to hold your phone all the time because you have your watch to notify you with all the important things and reminders you have to do everyday. It also alerts you if your phone is on 20% battery so you can charge it asap.

Sometimes, there are instances in life where missing a call can change your life. You might think it’s funny now, but what if that call is your boss trying to remind you of an important project, or your special someone calling you because she had a terrible day, or you mom calling you for something very important- and because your phone was in your car/ bag/ pocket, you weren’t able to attend to them in that exact time when they needed you the most. Cookoo Watch  is here for your convenience! I’m always left with missed calls and uncountable messages every time I don’t get to check my phone, so this will surely be my best friend. It’s stylish, affordable and reduces the hassle of holding your phone 24/7.

Now, back to my look. I really like this top because I think it’s balanced- it’s a cropped top and but has long sleeves so it doesn’t look to revealing, that’s why it matched really well with my skater skirt (okay, this skirt is really overused, but I don’t care I love it sabi nag ni Iconopop. Hahaha). I personally love this look even if I wasn’t wearing a lot of accessories and if it’s just an all black apparel because it’s a practical attire for a fashion blogger like me who has a hectic schedule the whole day- sneaker wedges and a useful watch for a day filled with work. BMS.

*Cookoo Watch is distributed by Thinkscape and is available at A shop, iStudio, Switch, Technoholics, Mobile1, GadgetsInstyle, Power Mac Center, ava.ph and pormada.com.

Wow. That’s a techy watch! 🙂 Maybe I should get one next time. But I think it’s expensive. Hihi. BTW, I love your outfit. You don’t have many accessories on (and makeup) but it looks good! 🙂
