Daytime celebrations are mostly welcomed everywhere in the world, not just in Manila. During spring and summer, I like to wear light and floral pieces to make my entire outfit more vibrant and fun to match the season.

For a recent afternoon garden party, I traded in my usually edgy ensembles for a floral maxi dress with a twist. I’d totally wear this one for a special occasion this season, like Mother’s Day! To make the look even more special, I tucked a part of my maxi dress in my shorts to create a high-low effect and layered on a few minimal accessories to add some personality without going overboard.
