Since I chose to wear a printed matching apparel with minimal accessories during Digital Fashion Week day two, I did the opposite on the third day. All black with statement pieces are my favourite get up, especially if the accent pieces are this loud and beautiful. Local designer Ken Samudio has been featured internationally, including Vogue Italia’s 50th anniversary issue, and I’m so happy I got to wear his collection during DFW. Pinoy Pride right here! DFW Day 3 shows are: Pauline Ning and Depression’s SS ’15 collection.
Pauline Ning’s SS ’15 collection consisted of drapes, structure and sequins- everything that a girl would want to make herself feel empowered and youthful at the same time. She clearly thought of all the details to make all her designs impeccably stunning. The collection spoke of surprising details like the cutouts on the arm, sexy drapes on the back and more. ANTM cycle 20 winner Jourdan Miller walked the opening and finale for Pauline Ning’s show too. To see more of Pauline Ning’s collection, click HERE.
Edgy. Oversized. Cool. These are some of the words you can use to describe Depression’s SS ’15 collection. Andrew Loh and Kenny Lim’s (the creative duo behind the brand) collection consisted of black and white pieces with a touch of incredible detailing on each item. With the use of unconventional silhouettes, the pieces definitely stood out. To see more of Depression’s collection, click HERE.
