Day 5 in Singapore = last day of Digital Fashion Week. They definitely saved the best for last because Cristiano Burani’s and Fyodor Golan’s collections are something else. I’ll elaborate further later but for now, here are some of the things that happened before the show. We met international make up artist Lan Nguyen who’s worked backstage in several London fashion week shows. She taught us tricks and tips about make up.
Checkmate. Christiano Burani’s SS15 collection definitely gave a twist to norm core looks. Adding black and white pieces plus pastels in these simple white garments, it made the look feminine and masculine at the same time. Gingham fabric paired with crisp cotton top and pleated skirts = LOVE. To view the entire collection, click HERE.
After the first show, David and I did the live google hangout with British journalist Hilary Alexander, London celebrity stylist Rebekah Roy, DFW co-founder Charina Rijaja and designer Cristiano Burani himself. We basically talked about a lot of things, including work, travel and clothes.
Pinoy pride. With my co-representatives and DFW insiders David Guison and Kim Jones.
Last show in Singapore: Fyodor Golan. If you’re a fan of loud prints and vibrant colours, I’m sure you fell in love with this collection. I had such a hard time choosing what photos to upload because I wanted to post every single dress that came out! The structure of the dresses are incredible and everything’s just so gorgeous.
