A few weeks ago I was very happy to be invited to try UK’s favorite coffee chain, Costa Coffee. To all the coffee lovers out there, you heard it right! Costa Coffee is already here in the Philippines. They recently just opened at Eastwood Citywalk 1 and other branches are definitely opening very soon too.
I super love the interiors of the store, it really made me feel like I’m back in London. And I just have to say this too- everything is super Instagram worthy! Hahaha. They serve all their top selling coffees like Costa cappuccino, caffe latte, americano, espresso and my favourite flat white. Costa flat white is skillfully extracted shot of coffee called Cortissimo, smothered in a thin layer of milk bubbles, which are carefully poured by their expert baristas to form a florette. Usually I drink it with sugar but theirs is just already perfect as it is. Wow, writing about it makes me want to drink it right now!
Costa is a leading global coffee shop brand with over 40 years of coffee making expertise. Founded in London by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971, Costa now has over 1,968 coffee shops in the UK and more than 1,247 coffee shops in 30 overseas markets.
In terms of variety aside from the coffee that I have mentioned above, there are so much more to choose from like these salad and desserts you see above. Whether you like coffee or fruity shakes, they have it. Most of the pastries and cakes they sell there are specifically made for the Filipino palette. They serve Mango Sago cake and other delicious desserts that you’d definitely want to try.
Having coffee with someone, whether it’s a meeting or a get together with a close friend, is always a good idea.
I highly recommend everyone to try Costa Coffee when you’re in Eastwood. Be Bold. Be Different. Be #LondonStyle. BMS.
