Blue and Green

Rain, rain go away, come again another day.. Unfortunately it hasn’t been going away these past few days. Now, all I can do is to be prepared. I usually hold my meetings in BGC because it’s a nice place to have a quick merienda (meal) and also, now that I’m moving into my new place, I love visiting furniture stores there, especially Dimensione. Since it’s an outdoor mall, I can’t wear sandals because I wouldn’t want my feet to get wet. The best option? Wear boots. I love wearing boots because it automatically toughens up a person’s look and makes it look instantly edgy. And since I’m not the most feminine person in the world- I get to enjoy this opportunity. This pair of boots from Native brightened up my look and made the entire ensemble colorful. It looks great, is easy to wear and is antimicrobial and odor resistant! Their slip-ons are also nice for traveling/walking so make sure to check it out as well. I chose the bright colored one so it can be a scene stealer right away.

I must say that I am stunned by how you are pulling off your ombre green hair. It’s not a usual choice but it looks really good on you. The outfit totally intrigues me. I am rooting for the ‘comeback’ of the high-waisted jeans and short shorts. The pair of boots is undoubtedly the star, very edgy and yet it was a risk I’m sure you’re happy you took. I’ve only known a few people who can truly pull off a Doc Martin’s footwear and I think I should put you up on that list. Usually, people who are fond of this brand go for shades of black and nude but I am glad you didn’t. A total risk that turned out to be simply amazing. Btw, check-out http://www.briggsrobinson.com. It’s a new fashion blog, but already has great posts worth reading!
