Barcelona Travel Diary ’17

People normally say you’ll know if you and your friend will truly get along once you guys start traveling. Well, in that case, I think I’ve found my besties. I never have a hard time traveling with these girls– and since The Trio’s trip to Phuket 7 years ago to me and Nicole’s spontaneous travels, nothing has changed. I just keep loving them more. Here’s what we did during our #Spainoritas adventure.

We went inside the famous Casa Batllo, designed by Antoni Gaudi. The facade is wavy and fantastical. The interiors are full of imagination and I’m glad I was able to rent an audio guide to understand everything too. Don’t worry, the audio guide is free, but entrance isn’t.  Went all the way up to make sure I see every room and its details. The place is mostly composed to mosaic tiles and ceramic. Had dinner at El Nacional, the first ever milti space restauran in Barcelona located at Passeig de Gracia. Here you can try all sorts of traditional Spanish dishes. Aside from the good food, the place is picturesque too.  After eating, we went to this chic bar called Boca Chica for a drink. Nana claims it’s the best cocktail she’s ever tried.  Paellas and sangrias everyday.   Barcelona Cathedral. The famous door at the Gothic Quarter. Wanted to take a photo here but there’s just a 1% chance I get a good picture so I just didn’t bother to try. Lol.

More Spainoritas lakwatcha soon! BMS.
