Bali Travel Diary II

Bali Travel Diary II

Do you sometimes get that feeling when you just want to close your eyes and imagine/pretend like you’re in another place for the rest of the weekend? That’s what I feel like while doing this second travel post about my last Bali trip. I just have so many unforgettable memories there! Anyway, let me share with you what else happened during my 4-day stay in Bali.

Aside from Potato Head Beach Club, I really enjoyed relaxing at W Hotel in Bali. The pool area is so beautiful and the drinks are amazing! I arrived a day later than everyone else and we all went straight here after I checked in my luggage. Perfect timing also because we were able to catch the sunset!

Bali sunsets are seriously the best. Nothing compares.

The next day, we went to Tegallalang rice terraces. It’s one of the main attractions in Ubud. You can actually find lots of nice restaurants around the area so you can dine with a view!

For lunch, we went to Bebek Joni. This restaurant is very famous for their crispy duck and the serving is huge too! Definitely worth your money. The place is very nature-y and picturesque so you can go around and take photos while waiting for your food.

We also went around Ubud and shopped. You can find so many nice local shops anywhere and they’re all so affordable too! I was able to score a ukulele for only P600 and it usually costs around P2,000+ in Manila.

They sell so many nice souvenir items and clothes that are hard to find.

I also tried their local traditional dessert called Cendol. It consists of coconut milk, jelly, jack fruit, shaved ice and palm sugar. It tasted a bit funk at first, but after a while, I really enjoyed it!

I just walked around Ubud and spotted so many interesting temples nearby.

Before heading home, Tricia and I stopped by Seniman, a very famous coffee shop in Ubud. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I can definitely say the have great coffee!

With our Vaseline #SeizeTheSummer winner, Nicole Aguinaldo! I really had a great time bonding with her and everyone else. It’s always fun when you’re with people who are always positive and easy going. I really had a great time with everyone! Thank you again Vaseline for this wonderful trip. Bali, I’ll definitely be back. BMS.
