I’m in love with everything about Bali. The food, places, people, bars, beaches.. Everything. I’ll go back in a heartbeat if I only could, or if my schedule permits. It’s one of the places where I can just totally relax, unwind and not think of work the entire day. I went there a few months ago with my Vaseline #SeizeTheSummer team and winners and we all became pretty close during the trip. I love meeting new people and I love that we were all in a different country discovering places we’ve never seen before. I was able to take a lot of pictures during my trip and I hope you guys like my travel diary!
Sardine is a famous restaurant in Kuta and it’s in Petitenget, next door to Seminyak. Everything is Instagram worthy inside! You’ll understand what I’m talking about in a few seconds…
Aside from the fact that Sardine is truly a charming restaurant, the food is also very delicious.
Walking is very normal in Bali. In Seminyak, you’ll see so many local clothing and coffee shops everywhere. I got tons of home stuff here!
Aside from shopping, we were also able to try surfing at Canggu Beach and even had surfing instructors teach us the basics. It was my second time trying out surfing and I really had fun. Given the chance, I would surf again and again and again, if only the beaches in Manila are closer to the city.
My instructor was very impressed with my standing skills! Naks! I really want to take this sport seriously.
We went to Potato Head Beach Club, a place that everyone must go to when you’re in Bali. It’s the ultimate chill place ever. People go here to swim, eat, drink, tan, etc. Warning: It’s always full so make sure to reserve a nice spot in advance before heading over there. I’ve been to this beach club last year when Camille, Kryz and I went to Bali for a mini vacation and you just can’t help but go back. It’s that nice.
Last stop: Motel Mexicola. It’s really so sad that we were only able to find this place minutes before we had to leave for the airport. This tequila bar is so hip and cool! I’m definitely going back to dine at this place.
Bali travel diary part II soon! BMS.
