Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Angkor Wat in Cambodia is a temple you have to see at least once in your life. It’s so beautiful that every step I take and everywhere I look seems so unreal. It’s like a postcard that came to life. It’s so magnificent with all its scenic views. Angkor Wat, which means City of Temples, is a Buddhist temple complex and is the largest religious monument in the world. The towers are designed to look like sprouting lotus buds, and at one point they may have been covered in gold. Up to date, the monks still pray inside the temple that is why you can’t wear anything too revealing like shorts, tank top, etc. I really forgot about the intense heat because I was super into the history that the tour guide was explaining that afternoon. Every corner you turn to is filled with details and meaning. After seeing Angkor Wat from every side, the front view (before entering the temple) was the most spectacular sight I have seen in my life. The reflection from water made this tour beyond worthwhile. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this place- it’s surreal. Thank you so much Prime App for arranging this trip for me. BMS.
