Hello Vienna! So many things to do, so little time. Good thing I was with Sean who knew most of the famous places here- in short, ginawa ko siyang tour guide hahaha. We stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel called Grand Ferdinand that’s already in the main area, so we didn’t have a hard time going to all the places we wanted to see. I was also smothered with gifts from Vienna Tourism Board and felt so special (naks) because they gave me access to all public transportations!
Now this is what you call breakfast with a view.
First of the list: Wiener Staatsoper or the Opera House.
The very famous Kärntner street, also known as their shopping district. I couldn’t decide whether to look left, right or straight because there were so many cute shops and restaurants everywhere.
I found this vinyl stores and got 4 vinyl records: Angus and Julia Stone, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Adele. Emote halos lahat! Lol.
You have to go to Steffl. It’s a famous department store and they have all the nicest luxury brands you can think of. Perfect timing pa because when I visited their store, almost everything (except the new collections) was on sale! Woot.
St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Museumsquartier. I met some local friends through Tim Yap (because he knows everyone I swear lol) and they showed us around the area. Aside from it being an art district during the day, it’s also known as a chill drinking spot at night.
Schwedenplatz / Donaukanal for me is the coolest area I’ve been in. The canal is so beautiful especially during sunset (which is around 8:30-9pm there). They have cool bars and restaurants there and you can spend hours there doing whatever. It’s like a mini beach.
With new and old friends. Cheers!
It was my first time traveling with Sean outside Asia and now I’m wondering why we didn’t it earlier (dahil wall kaming pera duh hahaha). More Vienna travel photos soon!
