Break My Style | The New Realism

The New Realism

(Glam Fashion necklace, Virgos Lounge top, Alexander Wang bag, Superb Finds bracelets, Wardrobe Check shorts, Luxury Mall booties)

This is the second look we did for the Stylista x Pantene campaign with Alex Carbonell. This look from the F/W trend report is The New Realism- wherein the vibe is luxurious, defined and elegant with a hint of youth. As you can see, my hair is pulled back making my hair silky and smooth. This is also the first time I’ve tried this hairstyle and it looks so classy! So, what to wear with this type of hairstyle? Something luxurious- and of course, what would look more luxurious than this top I got from Virgos Lounge? The beaded details are crazy! I absolutely love the everything about this expensive-looking top. I actually got it a long time ago but I saved it for a very special event/ pictorial- like this one. We all know that if you want to look elegant, wear gold. The cream-brown-gold combination made the look classy, but because of the colorful bangles and my studded booties, I was able to make it look more fun.
So how did Alex Carbonell achieve this hairstyle? Here are some of my behind-the-scene photos. Your hair needs to have that extreme smoothness without the greasy look for that silky smooth finish. You don’t want your hair too oily while it’s pulled back right? They used Pantene solution so the smoothness will show even without that greasy look/ feel. With Pantene, there’s always a way to achieve that silky smooth finish. BMS.
