Break My Style | Spy Gal

Spy Gal

Have you ever had a favourite cartoon character or a superhero? When I was a kid (and sometimes up until now) I used to watch so many cartoons that I literally memorised all the characters' names and even their lines! Well, this one isn't really a cartoon character- but it is a very catchy and fashionable personality. She's the girl you see in all Benefit's Porefessional packages. Benefit has always been known for having personalities for specific makeups- and I'd like to introduce to you guys Spy Gal. I told you guys I'm in love with the colour mint- and she was the perfect peg for one of my looks in Paris. Not entirely the trench coat/ spy look, but I opted to wear something more my style- something with an edge and a modern touch.

The Chic Blue skirt

Shoes by Kai oxfords

Good thing I brought this oversized sweater with me- I knew the weather in Paris was going to be hot, but I also wanted to be safe just in case the weather becomes unpredictable. True enough, there were days where it was breezier than usual, and knowing my “lamigin” self, I just wanted to be extra safe. Since Spy Gal’s look consisted of mint, black and gray, I also revolved myself with those colours and came up with this. The hat and the sunnies made the look more mysterious, while the mint skirt and shoes made it more casual and friendly. My oxfords from Shoes By Kai has these magnificent details, and I love how it’s unbelievably comfy too. I wore it so many times in Paris!

So going back to Spy Gal, you must be wondering why I spent my time making her a peg for one of my looks- well, I wanted to share with you guys the wonder of Benefit’s Porefessional (which she represents). Porefessional quickly minimises the appearance of pores and fine lines for your skin to look smoother. It’s just a silky lightweight balm that you can apply under or over makeup. It’s translucent and has an oil-free formula complements so it makes your make up stick. I always use it every time I have events to TV guestings because it’s really effective. Plus I heard it’s one of Benefit’s best selling products in Asia. You should try it out and see the change! BMS.

Special thanks to my dad for taking my photos!

The sweater reminded me of the direwolves in winterfell (A SOng of Ice and Fire by George R.r. Martin) more so because of its colors (black, gray, and white) that represent the starks. Yay! I love to have that sweater! ♥
