Break My Style | Spy Gal Part II

Spy Gal Part II

Have you seen my last post about copying Spy Gal's look as my peg? If you haven't, you can check it out HERE. I've always been a fan of Benefit products, way back even when they weren't available in the Philippines yet. I love their blushes and their porefessional- I used them all the time during my acting days. Spy Gal Porefessional really helped me minimise my pores, making my skin look really good on screen-- that is why I decided to do another look inspired by her. My last one was when I went to Paris, and this time I did it when I went to Kuala Lumpur. You'll see how both looks are so different too because of the weather and feel of each country.

Since Spy Gal’s colour scheme is mint green and black, I wanted to mix both colours in such a way that I’d still be fit for Kuala Lumpur’s humid weather. We were going to a theme park this day and I wanted to look fun so I chose this top with prints for a comic feel. It also reminded me more of Spy Gal since she’s actually a comic girl! I wore black shorts instead of a skirt for a more relaxed look and ankle boots for a trendier look than Spy Gal’s classic knee high boots. To make my ensemble more interesting, I wore this matching gold necklace and bag from Glazey Mode. I really love that they both have a gold tiger enamel that’s identical. It was raining most of the time we were there so wearing this bag made of plastic really made it easier for me to keep all my things dry.

Anyway, back to Spy Gal… I’ve always loved her classic looking style and the fact that she embodies Benefit’s Porefessional. It’s really an amazing product that I always use when I know I’ll be wearing make up the whole day. Porefessional is a lightweight balm that easily and quickly minimises the appearance of pores and fine lines for you skin to look extra smooth. You can apply it under or over make up- I prefer putting porefessional when my face has absolutely no make up on because I use it as my base too. It’s translucent and has an oil-free formula complements so it makes your make up stick. It’s really a wonderful product, no wonder why it’s one of their best seeling products in Asia too! Try it and let me know what you think of it. BMS.
