Postcards From Paris I

A summary of my first few days in Paris. Yes, very touristy ng peg ko! Hahaha I brought my camera with me all day because I wanted to capture all the lovely places there. I believe in what Nicole Warne (also known as Gary Pepper Girl) said, "It's not about just seeing beautiful places, it's about seeing the beauty in every place." I hope through these photos I was able to share with you guys my journey. These are just my first three days in Paris. With only ten days to wander the streets of Paris, I knew I couldn't go to all the places I wished to see, plus having able to have time to shop and shoot. First stop: Élysée Palace, also known as the Palace of the President.

The Grand Palais. It was enlarged on the occasion of the world exhibition and it symbolises one of Paris' most fruitful cultural eras. I wished I could've seen more of what's inside.

With my sister at the Alexandre III Bridge. The view behind us is just breathtaking. I wish I can go back right now and stare at it. I don't mind doing it over and over again.

Arc De Triomphe. Designed by Jean Francois Chalgrin, it's a 50m high landmark that stands on the line of sight between the small arch of The Louvre and the great arch of La Défense.

Okay, so pwede na maging fashion blogger ang kuya ko! Hahaha. Seriously, I think if he had his own fashion blog, it would be awesome. I borrow his clothes most of the time.

Our driver for the day told us that this restaurant, Berthillon, serves the best ice cream, so we gave it a try. I finished mine in less than a minute.

Notre Dame Cathedral. What a gothic masterpiece. I love every single detail carved! Can you believe 9000 people can fit inside this church?

Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. The blindingly white basilica high above the city on Montmartre hill is just unbelievable. And the view across it is just unreal. I can probably see the entire city of Paris from here. My first time in Paris is truly a memorable one, just like all my travels.. but this one has a certain something I can't explain why it's more special. It might be because I was reunited with my entire family again, or that it's a new city I explored, or even just because I treasured every single moment. BMS.
