Traveling from one city to another is always fun in Europe. From Paris to Amsterdam, Florence, Rome, Prague-- and the list goes on. Some people prefer riding the train while others prefer the plane. Our family had a destination that would be good for the heart, mind and soul- we went to Lourdes. Lourdes is a small market town and is famous for the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes that occurred to Bernadette Soubirous back in 1858. Ever since I was a little kid and until now, we'd always go to the same church called The National Shrine of our Lady of Lourdes, and my mom always told me that it was her dream to go to Lourdes and see the actual statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. Anyway, it was a 7-hour train ride going there, but we didn't mind the long wait because we were altogether. We only stayed there overnight, but it was enough time for us to see everything we needed to see. I'm not the most religious girl in the world, but I pray a lot and I do believe in God, just like how I believe in miracles. BMS.
