Now that the rainy season has begun, who doesn’t miss the sunshine and the beautiful beaches? It was so much fun playing on the sand and taking pictures everywhere on the beach. Aside from my friends who made the summer extra awesome, I have to give it to NESTLÉ FITNESSE . I am proud to introduce to you the five successful challengers of the NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Summer Challenge, namely Angeline Cuabo, Mark Gil Magday, Arsena Suco-Hussin, Rennie Dycam Jr. and Rodrigo Pablo Vivo, who bested hundreds of employees during the challenge held last summer in different Metro Manila offices. Are you ready to meet them?
Part of their prize as winners is a magazine feature with me. So last month, we did a photo shoot together for Cosmopolitan magazine where I also styled each of them to highlight the results of the 14-Day Program. But aside from highlighting the physical aspect alone, the winners also aimed to inspire other people to jumpstart an active and healthy lifestyle. Arsena Suco-Hussin is a call center agent with two kids. Through the help of the Summer Challenge, she lost 6.6 pounds and was motivated to adopt a healthy lifestyle to avoid obesity, which runs in her family. “It’s encouraging and at the same time, fulfilling, when people notice the results of the NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Program,” shares Arsena.
Rennie Dycam Jr., a 28-year old senior consultant, saw the Summer Challenge as an opportunity to return to his healthy and active lifestyle. His dedication during the NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Summer challenge resulted in a 6-pound weight loss. “NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Program is pretty simple. Mark Gil Magday, 25-year old insurance specialist, says that seeing immediate progress in just two weeks motivated him to complete the program. “The highlight of the challenge was when I started to lose weight progressively. The obvious changes in my body motivated me to continue on until the 14th day. I was very glad that I achieved my goal to lose 11 pounds.”
Angeline Cuabo is a 26-year old call center agent. While on set, we all had a good time chatting with one another. They shared with me some of their experiences and struggles during the program. After the 14-Day Program, they are now more confident about themselves. The confidence really showed as they effortlessly posed and smiled in front of the camera.
The shoot was really light and fun. It was such an honor to meet all of them. They’re truly inspiring and I hope, just like them, more people would realize the importance of taking care of one’s health through correct eating habits and of course, engaging into physical activities.
