I now have one more reason to visit the Netherlands. People there are apparently fashion savvy and knows what it’s like to have good taste *wink wink*. Viva la Dutch! Imagine my elation when I received an email informing me that they featured me on their blog, girlscene.nl. Complete with photos and a hefty number of Dutch words I wish I could understand. From all the way here in Manila to all those Dutch fashionistas out there. SALAMAT! MAHAL KO KAYO! BMS.

I thought I’d translate it for you! (:

Laureen Uy is a 21years old and owns a closet which every fashionista dreams of; a walk-in-closet. Five closets just for her clothes, one closet for her shoes and one for her bags…But if Laureen owns style? It’s up to you!
Laureeen lives in Quezon City, a city in the Fillipines full with shiny skyscrapers. Laureen is the owner of the brand Stylebreak, en she loves to shop and check out blogs.
Laureen calls her style experimental and loves to wear clothes that are edgy. Her favorite piece of clothing is a seethrough polo shirt and on her wishlist are YSL Tributes heels and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Her favorite colourmix is black, silver and neon. And her favourite designers?
Alexander McQueen and Balmain, because ‘they are so eccentric’.
Laureen buys most of her clothes in foreign countries. At H&M and American Apparel, because their clothes are comfy and fashionable, and at Lane Crawford’s and Joyca for some of her more expensive pieces. And ofcourse she wears alot clothes from her own brand.
According to Laureen, style is something you develop inside, and always keeps growing. Or like Coco Chanel said:”Fashion fades, Style is eternal”
