So this is what it feels like to try and look nice with so many layers! Hahaha. I feel so huge piling on so many sweaters but hey, instead of freezing to death- I'd rather layer and layer to keep myself warm! I wore this during my photographer/work mode with Cai Subijano of Philippine Star's Ystyle section when we interviewed designers Vivienne Tam and Josie Natori. I decided to work with the colors white, black and blue. I find the color blue cool in the eyes and at the same time not too out there. Since the sweater and faux fur coat is already loud, I decided to just wear a cute skater skirt with minimal accessories. And lastly, to remind me to love every single moment of this trip, I wore these bracelets I asked Personlized Accessories to make for me. They make personalised necklaces, bracelets and a lot more to suit your character. I chose a white strap so it can match with all my clothes and because white is such a pure shade. With these bracelets, I'll make sure to always to do all three in the right manner.
This was actually my outfit during my last day in New York, meaning I had no more clean clothes with me! Haha. I miscalculated how many sweaters I had to bring so what did I do? Borrow from my friend Carlos. Yes, he’s a guy and that's totally fine with me. It’s so comfortable wearing guy clothes! I loved that I scored this fur jacket from a cool vintage shop in Brooklyn (I heard Alexa Chung shops there too!). After I met up with Rafe Totengco, he gave me this bag that was never produced. He told me he only made two pieces of this bag and the other one belongs to him. Nakakakilig!!! I really don’t know why he doesn’t want to produce it, it looks so cute. I'm in love with this bag and for sure this will be overused!!! To match my new jacket, I wore this quilted boots from Berca Shoe Store. I’m so happy I brought it with me because it’s so comfortable to wear and the color really stands out when paired with black leggings! I'm very particular with the heel part and this one’s just perfect. The overall feel is quite vintage- and that’s why I love it more. BMS.
After my trip to New York, I went straight to Boracay for three days and took an early flight back to Manila because I had an afternoon ribbon cutting event plus another event after that. Talk about being busy! Hahaha- ako na ang jet setter! Kidding aside, it was really hard to think of a nice outfit that will be okay to wear to two different events- good thing I ordered this dress from SheInside. I like it because it looks so vintage. It's like the perfect dress you can wear if there's no theme and you just want to look good! The length is just perfect for a casual day event. I wore this spiked necklace from Belle Trio to make it look a bit edgy but still classy with its sparkling gems. It looks nice even if you don't layer it with other accessories because it's already an eye catcher. I'm really beginning to like girly looks now! BMS.
During my last day in El Nido, Palawan- I decided to just relax and spend some time under the sun. Some people usually think it's old school or "lola" to wear one-piece swimsuits but I disagree. You don't need to stick to the traditional ones, there are so many types that you'll adore- some look vintage, other looks alluring and for this specific swimsuit that I'm wearing, it's a mix of sexy and cute. There are so many adorable cutout one pieces nowadays- like this one I got from Mave. It might get confusing when you first try wearing it but once it's worn- wow. It's just the right balance of showing skin but not entirely making you look too sexy. It's perfect for more conservative girls out there. You also won't get conscious because you're sure that nothing won't accidentally pop out. Haha. I love that it's half printed and half with a solid color- too boring if it's just all black and too loud if it's all printed. I really missed wearing tribal print and I'm happy I found this one online. BMS.

Let it Flow, let it Flow.. Can't hold it back anymore. If you've watched Frozen, I'm sure you sang my opening sentence! Hahaha. I love bringing maxi skirts to my beach trips because they're very useful. It can be worn with a bikini during the day or a cute top during an event at night- plus they make everything look extra dramatic. During Nivea's presentation in the afternoon, I paired it with this ruffled bikini from Bhig Buda. I love how it's made and how incredibly slim you look when you're only wearing the bikini on. I think it's because of the inverted V shape that gives you that illusion that you're curvier. It's very convenient too because it's not only made for swimming but you can also wear it out at night- like this look in particular. I just put on a skirt and voila! After the presentation, I just took off my skirt (since I'm wearing the partner bottom) and continued to swim again. By the way, I told you I'm in love with the color mint green. BMS.
Check out Bhig Buda's Facebook page too.
