Traveling with a purpose- I think that’s the best way you can make the world a better place. I always tell myself to learn something new, meet new people and do something good every time I travel. The beauty of going to a new place is you’re not familiar with everything and it’s like being a child again- seeing new things and experiencing the unexpected. I know I’ve been to Boracay a lot of times, but this trip is very different (and memorable). I went with the Toms team and my blogger besties Nicole and Camille to give out shoes to the kids of Tagororoc School in Aklan. I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful things and it’s nice to share your blessings too. The feeling is unexplainable. If you’re not familiar with Toms, it’s a shoe brand that for every pair they sell, they also give a pair to kids who don’t have any. I didn’t bring my camera when we went to Tagororoc School because I knew we were going to be busy giving out shoes and teaching them how to wash their feet to prevent sickness. Afterwards we had some free time to enjoy the beach too. Here are some of the photos I took during our trip. I really had a fun time traveling with a purpose, especially with good friends around me who have the same belief. Thank you Toms for inviting us. BMS.
