Whenever I want to have fun and plan a mini getaway to the beach, it always has to be with my blogger besties because we’re all on the same page. We’re all water babies and we’re just addicted to the sand, sun and sea. A few months back, we decided to go to Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort for a much needed bonding session. If you want peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! It’s in the middle of Cebu and Dumaguete (you have to take a boat ride to be able to go to the island), so you know for sure it’s a private resort.
Yes, you can get a massage there with an overlooking view of the sea. What a way to get your mind off everything and just relax, right?
I’ve been here a few years back with a couple of friends and had the best time of my life! Now I’m back to make new memories. They now have new rooms and we stayed at a huge villa which had two rooms and a private pool in the middle. We also had a spacious living room area in between the two rooms and spent some nights just chilling there. It’s the perfect barkada villa!
Our private villa is the bomb!
Yes, our group can definitely eat a lot. If you follow me on Snapchat, I’m sure you know I eat like a pig! What’s great about being with my friends when we’re altogether? No holds barred sa pagkain hahaha! The good food in Sumilon really didn’t help us all with out pretentious diets. Lol.
Isn’t this such a romantic dinner set up? Imagine bringing your special someone here and spending the rest of the night just star gazing. Well good thing we were all girls because I’m the only one in the group who doesn’t have a boyfriend yet hahaha!
Keep calm and read a book.
Every corner on this island is really picture worthy. There’s a sand bar, a man-made lagoon, a beach with huts for your things and a lot more! You can even go to Oslob for whale shark watching- it’s just 15-20 minutes away.
I can seriously say that these girls will always be on my side no matter what. It’s funny how we all became friends because of blogging (well, except Nicole) and became extremely close. They’re like my sisters.
Sunsets here are incredibly wonderful. It’s like you’re staring at a beautiful canvas or an hd wallpaper that looks unreal.
I had an awesome four days in Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort and I can’t wait to come back again. Whenever I feel like going on a relaxing trip with good friends, I’ll definitely keep this beautiful island in mind. BMS.
